Tickets are valid for a day and allows access to all matches on that day.
Details of fixtures will be available after the official launch of the tournament on 9 August 2011.

CAPE TOWN GETTING READY FOR JUNIOR WORLDS

Cape Town is starting to buzz in anticipation of the Junior Women's World Championship to be held in the Mother City in December.

SONKE, the mascot (left), was launched to the public on 13 March 2011 at the Knockout Finals of the Western Province.

EASTERN GAUTENG and GAUTENG NORTH WIN NATIONALS

Gauteng North won the National women's title when they defeated Eastern Gauteng (Ekhurleni) in the final while Eastern Gauteng (Ekhurleni) defeated Kwazulu-Natal to win the Men's title. The tournament was held in the City of Tshwane (Pretoria) over the past long weekend. The Bronze medals were won by Gauteng North (Men) and Western province (Women). Sanet Van Niekerk (0.667) and Clint Alfino (0.615) won the prestigious top batter awards.

The tournament concluded with the announcement of the Male All Star squad and the Women 2012 World Championship Training Squad.

ISF visits the Mother City

The International Softball Federation visited Cape Town recently on a site inspection visit. Cape Town will host the 9th Junior Women World Series in December 2011
